A Spring G1 contender has been banned from racing for three months after bleeding at trackwork.
Lanciato was found to have bled from both nostrils during trackwork this morning and will incur a three-month embargo from racing. Accordingly, Lanciato will not race during the Spring Carnival.
Lanciato last raced in the Luskin Star Stakes at Scone in May where he finished ninth.
