A Sydney jockey has experienced the highs and lows of racing after receiving a six week suspension for failing to ride out his mount at Moree today. The suspension comes a day after winning a Group 2 at Randwick on Saturday.
Josh Adams rode Magic Ray in the second at Moree and received the hefty suspension after failing to ride his mount out during the final stages of the race which ultimately saw his ride lose.
Adams will miss a majority of the Spring Carnival (September 13 – October 25) due to the suspension.
