Champion jockey Hugh Bowman has been the beneficiary of Glen Boss’ suspension from the weekend by picking up the ride on key All Star Mile contender Kolding.
Bowman has been booked to ride Kolding who is an $11 chance with Ladbrokes in betting after Glen Boss was ruled out of riding at the meeting due to a suspension he incurred for his ride on Cascadian in the Group Three Liverpool City Cup at Randwick on Saturday.
Kolding was the winner of the G1 Epsom Handicap and the inaugural Golden Eagle last year but has been unplaced at his two starts this preparation running fourth in the Expressway Stakes before a fifth in the Futurity Stakes.
