G1 winner Laws Of Indices headed back to Ireland

Laws Of Indices, a Group 1-winning entire, has been sold and is set to return to Ireland following an eventful stint in Australian racing.

Originally imported with high expectations, the son of Power contested 19 races in Australia without securing a victory. Despite this, he demonstrated his class by finishing in the placings in top-tier events, including the George Ryder Stakes and Toorak Handicap. Additionally, he claimed an impressive third in the Hong Kong Mile at Sha Tin in 2022.

Initially trained in Australia by Annabel Neasham, Laws Of Indices was later transferred to Phillip Stokes at Pakenham for his final four starts.

Reports suggest that a part-owner has now acquired full ownership of the horse for just $25,000, a surprisingly modest sum given his potential stud prospects in Europe.

Laws Of Indices’ greatest triumph came before his Australian campaign when he secured victory in the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat at Deauville in July 2021, marking his penultimate start in Europe before heading Down Under.
