After the announcement of official nominations this afternoon, ‘All In’ markets are available at TAB on the two three-year-old classics in Melbourne Cup Carnival Week.
The James Cummings-trained Alcyone, Patrick Payne’s Cherry Tortoni and Danny O’Brien-trained Young Werther have opened $9 equal favourites at TAB for the Victoria Derby at Flemington on October 31.
Alcyone won the 1800-metre Byerley Handicap at Flemington on July 18, Cherry Tortoni held off Alcyone in the 1600-metre Taj Rossi Series Final at Flemington on July 4 and Young Werther won on debut over 1500 metres at Geelong on September 6.
