Sun City is the clear favourite to take out the Phelan Ready Stakes (1110m) this Saturday at Doomben, one of several key lead up races to the Magic Millions Classic.
This Tony McEvoy trained colt hasn’t raced since debuting in the Maribyrnong Trial when a solid second to Unite And Conquer, who franked the form by winning the Wyong Magic Millions. He’s out to $2.15 from $2, largely due to the even money opening price being skinny.
Krameric had no luck last time at Rosehill and the Breeders Plate run on debut was a beauty. He’s solid at $4 and that really is the race, though Eleven Eleven is hard in the market at $6.
