The top 10 votegetters for the 2021 All-Star Mile at The Valley on March 13 have been announced and Probabeel has re-opened the $4.50 favourite at TAB.
Probabeel – currently $3.50 second elect for tomorrow’s Futurity Stakes at Caulfield – won the Group 1 Epsom Mile at Randwick last October ad returned from a spell with her ninth career victory in the Geoffrey Bellmaine Stakes at Caulfield on February 6.
Arcadia Queen – currently $6 in tomorrow’s Futurity Stakes at Caulfield – is a three-time Group 1 winner including last November’s Mackinnon Stakes at Flemington on the final day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
Behemoth – currently $3.20 favourite for tomorrow’s Futurity Stakes – was a dual Group 1 winner last spring in the Memsie Stakes at Caulfield on August 29 and the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes at the same racecourse on September 19.
Russian Camelot is set to resume in next month’s All-Star Mile after finishing in the placings of four Group 1s last campaign highlighted by the victory in the Underwood Stakes at Caulfield on September 26.
Along with Group 1 stars, the All-Star Mile on March 13 will feature less-heralded gallopers including the Queensland-based The Harrovian ($26), a winner of 17 races from 30 starts.
The Tasmanian-based Still A Star ($34) has not finished outside the top-two in her 12 career starts including wins in last year’s Tasmanian Guineas, Launceston Guineas and Tasmanian Oaks for trainer Bill Ryan at Longford.
The South Australian-based Regalo De Gaetano ($101) has eight wins and four minor placings from 22 career runs with his biggest win coming in last October’s John Letts Cup at Morphettville for Richard and Chantelle Jolly.
