The fifth slot for the TAB Everest at Royal Randwick on October 19 has been confirmed with the Kris Lees-trained In Her Time securing her spot thanks to Inglis.
In Her Time is currently rated a $15 chance with TAB Fixed Odds to claim the third edition of the TAB Everest.
“In Her Time showed she is one of the better sprinters in Australia after taking out the Black Caviar Lightning at Flemington on February 16 beating Osborne Bulls and fellow TAB Everest runner Sunlight in the process,” TAB’s Trent Langskaill said.
The Time Thief mare finished seventh in last year’s TAB Everest before running second to Santa Ana Lane in the VRC Sprint Classic at Flemington on November 10; the final day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
In Her Time joins Pierata, Classique Legend and Sunlight in the Everest along with TAB’s representative for the world’s richest race on turf, five-time Group 1 winner Santa Ana Lane.
Earlier today, Arcadia Queen shortened from $26 to $11 after her owner, Bob Peters, announced that the filly would be heading to the Chris Waller stable for a potential run in the TAB Everest before contesting the inaugural Golden Eagle.
