Trial Watch – Rosehill Gardens 26/06/2015

There were some pretty impressive efforts at the Rosehill  trials on Friday, most notably from the Bjorn Baker yard. Find out down below who caught our eye the most.

Rosehill- Friday, June 26, Weather Fine, Track Heavy8.

Heat One- Miss Tenpins (1st):

This mare has been excellent in two trial wins, the latest being this one. She just ambled along in front, booted clear by a space at the top of the straight and was eased down the last 100m, so the margin flattered her rivals. Best of the morning for mine, and looks set to go close to winning wherever she resumes.

Heat Two- Bapaume (1st):

First public appearance from this son of Nom Du Jeu, and boy he looked very good in winning. Didn’t jump the best and settled last in the trial before looking for a run at the top of the straight, then taking a gap between two runners and bursting through to win very impressively. Bred to stay, but he might be sharp enough to perform early on.

Heat Three- More Than Fabulous (4th):

Handy gelding that hasn’t raced since March, but his trials leading up to his return to racing have been pretty sharp. He settled off the speed in this particular trial and though he only ran fourth of five, it was very impressive. He was bolting and could have easily won the trial had he been let down by Schofield. City winner for sure.

Heat Four- Dance Of Heroes (1st), Mark’s Legacy (2nd), Darciwood (3rd) and Danjeu (4th):

Follow this trial and follow it with plenty of confidence. First four across the line were excellent, most notably the winner and the runner up. These four horses will all be winning races this time in, maybe even a stakes race or two.
