Warrnambool hosts an eight-race program for New Year’s Eve with the rail in the true position and the track rated a Good 4. Expecting the track to play fair and for tempo/race shape to dictate the finishing positions rather any distinct track bias.
The $60,000 Woodford Cup is the feature to be run at 1700m and features the likes of Ardakan, Night Endeavour, Paradise Storm, Ocean Beyond and Mister Me.

Great debut run when 2nd at Terang in a 1200m maiden on the 16th of December, her best work there was the final 200m when she steamed home running the quickest Last 200m of the day in 11.13 seconds.
Like the step up in trip for her here to the 1400m and didn’t think it was a maiden with much depth. Expect when market’s open she’s around the $3 quote and feel that would be a great price to take.
Terang Race 3 I Bazzar
They just couldn’t go with Bazzar once the 3YO shifted gears 💨 @dabernigracing‘s gelding has claimed his maiden win at his third outing at the races.

Race 8 – 2 Cachink
Happy to forgive this bloke’s most recent effort at the Caulfield Heath when he faded from on speed in a race that turned into a dash home and he was outsprinted.
First up effort was good when 4th behind Ten Commandments and subsequent City winer Darkbonee and sticking to the task in a good rating contest. His form and ratings last prep are clearly superior to his opposition here and if he finds that level 3rd up then he’s a good gamble.
Also like that they’ve decided to switch riders and use 3kg claiming apprentice Jade Smith who has been very effective in her short career on horses who can push forward.
