Group 1 action continues at Randwick this Saturday with two headline events – the Champagne Stakes (1600m) for the two-year-olds, and the prestigious All-Aged Stakes (1400m), run under weight-for-age conditions.

The All-Aged Stakes is shaping up as one of the races of the autumn, with an array of star performers lining up. Queensland’s Antino, the Toorak Handicap winner, makes his return and is expected to continue on to the Hollindale Stakes and Doomben Cup after this weekend’s run.

Joining him are fellow Group 1 winners from this season: Briasa, Broadsiding and Jimmysstar, all set to chase further top-level glory.

Magic Time, a proven mare at this level, is locked in to run with Jordan Childs booked for the ride, while Jamie Mott will again partner Benedetta, the Mornington sprinter known for her powerful finishes.

Autumn Glow, an emerging talent trained by Chris Waller, is a possible starter after being withdrawn from the Arrowfield Sprint due to an elevated temperature. Her participation is still to be confirmed.
