Toowoomba race caller Pat O’Shea dies

Popular Queensland race caller Pat O’Shea has died after a short illness.

The 64-year-old underwent surgery for bowel cancer last Monday but died on Saturday night in Toowoomba’s St Andrew’s Hospital.

O’Shea had a long career calling many sports and was the voice of Toowoomba racing for three decades.
