Last years Caulfield Cup favourite Kings Will Dream is set to make a full recovery and return to racing during the Spring after fracturing his pelvis in the Cox Plate.

Kings Will Dream broke down during last years Cox Plate won by Champion mare Winx and there were fears the talented stayer would not make it through let alone race again although he has made a full recovery and new trainer Chris Waller is set to target the 2019 Cox Plate with the imported galloper.

The former Darren Weir trained galloper shot to the head of Caulfield Cup betting after a five length Mornington Cup win which gave him ballot exempt entry into the race.

During the Spring he was placed in the Memsie Stakes, Makybe Diva Stakes and Turnbull Stakes before finishing sixth in the Caulfield Cup.
