Jockeys taken to hospital following Cranbourne fall

Victorian jockeys Brian Higgins and Brad Rawiller have both been taken to hospital after suffering a fall at Cranbourne.

Brian Higgins and Brad Rawiller suffered a nasty fall in Race four of today’s Cranbourne card with both jockeys being taken to Alfred Hospital via anbulance after the helicopter was delayed.

Preliminary Re Cranbourne: Brad Rawiller & Brian Higgins going 2 Alfred Hosp: Both conscious. Brad: concussion & chest pain & all usual precautions being taken, Brian: Conscious, sitting up, main concerns re internals with ribs, lung & abdomen pain. More updates later. VJA/RV
