Former star WA galloper Ihtsahymn has continued his impressive NT form with a win in Monday’s Darwin Cup.
Ihtsahymn was sent out as the second favourite in the 2000m Darwin Cup and proved far to strong for his rivals to score a comprehensive win with the aid of a perfect ride by Peter Hall.
Ihtsahymn did a majority of his racing in Western Australia for before moving to Robert Gulberti’s stables in Broome after a lengthy form slump.
Ihtsahymn’s has been rejuvenated since making the move to NT having won all three of his starts including the Darwin Cup today.
Ihtsahymn won the Group One Kingston Town Classic in 2013.
