Horse racing to continue, sales in doubt

Horse racing across Australia is set to continue at least for the time being after the government outlined the stricter policies last night regarding the coronavirus.

Scott Morrison addressed the country last night in which he implemented stricter rules around some businesses although horse racing was not affected with the states continuing to implement more stringent conditions on industry participants to allow the codes to continue for as long as possible.

However in the new rules auctions were banned which has cast doubt over the yearly Inglis Easter sales in Sydney.
