Colt sold for $2 million at the Gold Coast

A colt by speed sire I Am Invincible has fetched $2 million on the second day of the Magic Millions yearling sale at the Gold Coast.

The colt bought by the partnership of Reg Inglis, John Kelly and Paul Frampton, is slated to go the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott stable.

The colt’s dam, stakes winner Tai Tai Tess, is a grand daughter of 1993 VRC Oaks winner Arborea.

He was sold by the Mitchell family’s Yarraman Park Stud and is the highest priced progeny of I Am Invincible and the the highest-priced yearling sold at the Gold Coast sale for a decade.
