Capacity field for the Spring Champion Stakes

This weekends feature at Randwick the Group One Spring Champion Stakes for three-year-olds will have a capacity field of fourteen horses.

The Final Field for the G1 Spring Champion Stakes was released on Wednesday with fifteen horses accepting in the fourteen horse field leaving the John Sargent trained Favreau as the first emergency.

Unbeaten gelding Love Tap heads the market for the race despite drawing the outside barrier with Group One winning filly Montefilia vying for favouritism.

The 2000m Group One event received some extra quality with Cherry Tortoni bypassing the Caulfield Guineas to line-up in the race.
