Son of Makybe Diva set to return

Rockstardom, son of triple-Melbourne Cup winning superstar Makybe Diva is set to return to racing next Thursday at Ballarat in a maiden plate over 1600metres.

The 3 year old colt by Galileo had two runs in August and September of last year but failed to get within 3 lengths of a win.

Rockstardom trained by Danny OÒ€ℒBrien sold for $1.5million as a yearling and was bred by Tony Santic who kept a stake in the colt. Football identities Billy Brownless, Sam Newman and Garry Lyon are among a large number of people to also have a small share of ownership in the horse.
