* First run in its present form in 2007 when it was changed from a handicap race and elevated to Group One.

* It was the first Group One success for Black Caviar who will have just six rivals in her defence including stablemates Mid Summer Music, Curtana and Panipique.
* If she wins, the mare will stretch her unbeaten record to 16.
* Regular jockey Luke Nolen rides Black Caviar after missing her win last year through suspension.
