1. Snoopy Now: Topweight but there is a reason for that. He has class on his side and is racing well. Game second over 2000m at Murray Bridge last start to Crimson Vine and with that run under the belt, he clearly appeals.
2. Komachi: Has been kept on ice since Dec 27 when a winner over 1800m at Morphettville, giving them a start and a beating. 2050m is a query but has trialled well to keep him up to the mark and he too has class.
3. Kirkliston Blu: Attempted to lead throughout and gave a decent sight but just tired late in the piece in the Crimson Vine race. Good racing style, but doubt he wins.
4. Yuri Royale: Just fair behind Crimson Vine and can’t see him threatening.
5. Bolt By: Steps up to 2050m after racing over the mile at Murray Bridge a few weeks ago where the race shape wasn’t suited so a total forgive. Better set up here, he’s a knockout hope.
6. Dual Fuel: I think this race will be won by the best stayer, and Dual Fuel looks the best stayer. Just too far back at Gawler last time and was quite good without threatening. She’ll sit off the genuine tempo and if within range, I think she finishes over the top.
7. Isuspectjeu: Gave them a start and a beating to win at Murray Bridge last start over the mile. 2050m is the query and is drawn to be near last. He can go through to the keeper.
8. Magnetic Edge: Ten years of age but is flying. Game win two back at Gawler before hitting the line well at Penola. I think he is a must for exotics.
9. Grinzinger Bishop: I reckon he is looking for the paddock. Just showing signs of being a tired horse and while he’ll give a good sight on speed, I do think he’ll be putting up the white flag.
10. Coorong Tycoon: Coorong Tycoon comes here after racing over 2000m at Murray Bridge three weeks ago. He just took forever to wind up but was good late when second to Full Of Courage. He’ll be strong late. Just depends what start he concedes.
11. Alchian: Game track/distance win last start with a big weight. Harder here, but will stay, maps well…first four threat.

13. Aitch D’Amico: Ran third to Savsonic in the race mentioned above. Not for me.
14. Tyusix (First Emergency): Looks outclassed.
