A simple $100 outlay has netted one TAB punter a five-figure collect on the First 4 on today’s feature event – the $1million The Gong from Kembla Grange.
With Archedemus scoring an upset at $18.90 on the NSW tote it set things up for some decent exotics. Race favourite Dawn Passage ran second while roughies Think It Over ($40.80) and Reloaded ($18.90) filled third and fourth.
The First 4 on the NSW TAB topped $100k and this particular customer chose to go ‘one out’ with Archedemus on top!
Selecting five horses for second (including the fav), they then went for safety by choosing ‘Field’ for third and fourth.
For their efforts, the punter picked up nearly $12,000!
