Ladbrokes have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting. Hopefully we can continue on from last Saturday after finding Excelida at $12.
Randwick Race One Number 17 Gold Lunar ($20):
Gold Lunar is racing in career best form for Rod Northam and deserves a crack at Highway grade. She faced two rivals at Scone last time in a pretty thin on testing ground and really, she was just far too good for them. Been up a while but is holding her form nicely and finds a winnable Highway.
Randwick Race Five Number 7 Never Talk ($8.00):
Never Talk has a booming finish on her and I think she has come back in super order. Resumed at this track/distance three weeks ago and was very good nearer the inside, which wasn’t the spot to be, when third to Brigantine. Good second up record, loves getting her feet wet, back to Mares grade…has plenty going for her.
Randwick Race Eight Number 9 Loch Eagle ($12):
Loch Eagle has come back a different horse. A better horse. He resumed at the midweeks at Canterbury and so far, it’s the win of the Sydney Spring. Sat last, was last on the turn, peeled widest and he just rounded them up with ease to win and win in such impressive fashion. I think he’s a legitimate Golden Eagle contender and can confirm that here.
Flemington Race Nine Number 10 Finepoint ($9.00):
Finepoint is hard to beat for Chris Waller. She was kept quite safe in betting when resuming over 1400m two weeks ago at Rosehill where she had the dream sit behind the speed before McEvoy gave her clear air and in a driving go, she finished best to win. Heading in the right direction, fitter, up to the mile…all points to her.
