Nugget is deep into the red with Ladbrokes.com.au for one of the feature races at Sandown this afternoon, the Lord Stakes (1700m).
The Maher/Eustace import has done little wrong in his first Australian prep and with the race hit by scratchings, he clearly dominates betting, sitting at $1.55.
The only rival according to the market is in form mare Life Lessons, and has been popular, into $2.80. They stifle betting, with next best being Black Sail, a stablemate of Nugget. He sits at $13.
