Sires winner Militarize is odds on with Ladbrokes.com.au for the Champagne Stakes (1600m) this afternoon at Randwick.
The Chris Waller trained colt was a dominant winner of the Sires (1400m) two weeks ago and looks primed for the 1600m assignment. Opened $2.60 and has been crunched, now into $1.90.
Don Corleone, runner up in the Sires, is on the second line of betting at $3.50, in from $4.20. They are the lone runners at single figures, with next best being Tom Kitten at $10, backing up from his Fernhill win last Saturday.
