Golden Slipper winner Fireburn is nominated for the race despite trainer Gary Portelli saying the filly will have a light Spring, so you’d think she is doubtful to run given those comments. She sits at the top of the market at $11 alongside Percy Sykes winner Paris Dior.
She’s Extreme, the Champagne winner, is also equal favourite at $11. A host of runners sit on the next line of betting at $15, including recent Caulfield winner Boogie Dancer.
