The nominations were released for Saturday’s Group One Tancred Stakes at Rosehill on Saturday and bookmakers are keeping Ranvet Stakes winner Avilius safe in the market despite not knowing if he will back-up in the race.
Avilius was a strong winner of the Ranvet Stakes on Saturday and trainer James Cummings mentioned that he could back-up Godolphins star middle distance horse in the lucrative Tancred Stakes on Saturday if the horse comes through the run well thus bookmakers have opened him the $2.60 favourite.
On the second line of betting and the clear second pick is Red Cardinal at $3.80 with stablemate Big Duke at $6.00 fellow Australian Bloodstock horse Shraaoh at $8.00.
All other runners are in double figures.
