Southside Racing has announced free entry to all meetings at Cranbourne and Pakenham (except Good Friday night) from April 1 to October 1.

This initiative is part of their effort to make racing more accessible, alongside the ongoing “Together at the Table” program, which offers reduced food and drink prices. CEO Neil Bainbridge emphasized their goal of attracting new fans and growing the sport.

“Our goal is to remove any barriers between our community and the sport we love,” he told Racing.com

“Offering free general admission, combined with affordable dining options through ‘Together at the Table,’ we’re creating a welcoming, accessible environment for everyone to enjoy.

“Southside Racing’s ambition is clear; attract more people to the track, turn casual racegoers into avid racing fans and, ultimately, convert them into members.

“Free entry is a simple but powerful way to encourage new audiences to engage with the sport.”
