Australian jockey Zac Purton has broken Hong Kong Racing’s record for the most prize money won by a jockey in a single season.
Purton yesterday broke a season record of the most prize money won by a jockey on Sunday with his total now surpassing $207,714,765 Hong Kong dollars or $38,233,754 Australian dollars with 11 meetings still remaining.
More impressively however are his stats with a 50% winning strike rate in his last 30 rides and in his last three meetings he has had two with six winners.
