Online bookmaker Unibet has sent an inquiry into Racing NSW this morning in hope to sponsor next Novembers $7.5m Golden Eagle.
The TAB formally retracted their sponsorship of the race yesterday as it clashed with Derby Day in Melbourne where the TAB has naming rights for a feature race on the Flemington card, prompting Unibet to express interest.
Unibet has offered Racing NSW the same sponsorship amount as organised for the TAB at $500,000 which is set to help contribute to the $7.5m in prizemoney up for offer.
