Crowd favourite Tom Melbourne will have a new trainer when he returns to the races in the new year.
Tom Melbourne who has been trained by leading Sydney trainer Chris Waller will be sent west to WA to be trained by Lindsey Smith.
The move comes as connections hope the new surroundings will see the horse return to his best form which saw him go close in multiple Group 1’s.
