A New Zealand G1 winner galloper has been scratched from the Group 2 Dato Tan Chin Nam Stakes after cutting his leg which needed treatment.
G1 winner Tavago has been scratched from the Field after cutting his leg which requires antibiotic treatment.
He is now likely to return at Flemington in the G1 Makybe Diva Stakes on Saturday week.
Tavago was a $14 chance at Sportsbet.com.au before coming out of the race.
