Champion mare Winx is set to go down as the best horse the country has ever seen but siblings of the champ have failed to live up to her ability.
Breeder John Camilleri confirmed during the week Winx’s half sister by Snitzel will likely head to the breeding barn without making it to the races much like three of her siblings, Miss Atom Bomb, Win Win Leader and Boulder City.
Vegas Showgirl’s third daughter a three-year-old half sister called Courchevel was under the care of in-form Victorian training operation of Ciaron Maher and David Eustace but has since returned to Sydney without being sighted at the trials or races.
Camilleri told racing.com that the filly is likely she will retire unraced.
