Anders has tightened in with bookies in all in markets for the Everest (1200m), to be run on October 17 at Randwick.
The Maher/Eustace trained three year old blitzed them in the San Domenico (1100m) at Rosehill on Saturday and with that, he was talked up straight away as a contender for the premier sprint race in Australia. He was $26 prior to the event but after the win got into as short as $12 before settling at $15.
Nature Strip, who will resume next Saturday in the Concorde Stakes at Randwick, is the $3 favourite while another that resumes in the Concorde, Gytrash, is at $11.
