$2.8m colt a flop at Randwick

One of the most expensive yearlings to go through the sales anywhere in the world last year has run a long last on debut on Randwick only beating a horse who failed to finish.

The Peter and Paul Snowden trained Mount Fuji who was a $2.8m Easter Yearling purchase last year was well backed at his debut at Randwick today but failed to beat (outside of Sea Boss who failed to finish) a horse home.
