The VRC today announced that David Courtney has resigned as Chief Executive, effective immediately.
Mr Courtney had been on indefinite leave since April to focus on his health and family.
VRC Chairman Michael Burn praised Mr Courtney’s contribution to the Club.
“We sincerely thank David for his terrific contribution to the VRC in a relatively short time,” Mr Burn said.
“On behalf of the VRC board, staff and members, we wish David well in his recovery.”
Mr Burn asked that Mr Courtney’s privacy be respected during this time.
The VRC Board has commenced the process to secure its next Chief Executive, and will consider internal and external candidates with the assistance of Russell Reynolds Associates.
Julian Sullivan will continue in the role of Acting Chief Executive.
