Trumbull’s odds slashed to win The Hunter

Trumbull has been the early firmer with the TAB in their all in market for The Hunter (1300m) at Newcastle on Saturday.

The Kim Waugh trained galloper was an impressive winner of the Sydney Stakes on Everest Day and could have gone to the Yes Yes Yes two weeks ago, but has been kept on ice for this and has trialled up well leading in. Opened $6 and that price was taken, now into $4.50.

Fiesta, Flit and Savatiano sit on the second line of betting at $8, with Fiesta staying in the East and not going to Ascot for the Winterbottom due to border restrictions.

The other firmer has been Ranier, who is $11 in from $15, but keep in mind is also nominated for a couple of races at Sandown.
