1. Skybird: Not sold on her, especially if the track is dry, which the forecast says it will be. Just fair when resuming and had conditions to suit in the TJ when third. She has class, but I can’t be backing her. Needs too much to go right.
2. Charm Stone: Tried her absolute guts out in the William Reid but first up, condition just gave way late. Has eyes on Royal Ascot and despite drawn wide, commands respect.
3. Generosity: Just not sold on her at a strong 1200m, even with the barrier. She is absolutely flying and is dynamic when fresh, has J Mac…but the end of 1200m is going to be her test.
4. Benedetta: Proven performer in Adelaide and does click with Jamie Melham…just think her better days may be behind her.
5. Super Smink: Gave them a start and a beating to win the Irwin first up in an electric return. She’ll be strong late. Just depends what start she concedes.
6. Bridal Waltz: Bridal Waltz tried her guts out in The Galaxy several weeks ago. Thought she was there to win but she just couldn’t quite get there in a blanket finish behind Marhoona. Better suited here I feel, she commands respect.
7. Flying For Fun: Flying For Fun is very dangerous here. Total forgive/forget run in the Sapphire two weeks back when four wide no cover the trip and the hard run told when down the track. If she can get cover, a drag into the race, she has the change up speed to be very dangerous.
8. Aviatress: SCR
9. Stretan Angel: She looked like she was there to win the Irwin but condition just blew out late. Maps to get a sweet sit and be effective late, and gets L Neindorf to ride again.

11. Ameena: Interrupted prep but looks to have had the grounding for the first up assault and the stable are gun Grand Final trainers. One for wider exotics.
12. Geegees Mistruth: Honest mare that tries very hard…just can’t back her with confidence.
13. Ahha Ahha: SCR
14. Bossy Benita: Handy mare that comes back to 1200m after runs at 1400m when on speed and tried hard but just felt the pinch last time. Like her back to 1200m, good racing style…she’ll run a cheeky race.
15. Soft Love: SCR
16. My Gladiola: Had excuses last start but I think there are real holes in her form and better suited here on firmer footing, but I want to be against her.
17. Point Barrow: Point Barrow is five weeks between runs since an impressive win at Caulfield. Admittedly, she didn’t beat much, but she gave them a start and a beating, and conceded weight in the process. She’ll likely sit off this speed and can really unleash. She’s right in the mix.
