Randwick Guineas 2026 – Tips, Field, Odds, Horses and Betting Preview

One of the key races at Randwick this Saturday is the Randwick Guineas (1600m), where we see the clash of star colt Autumn Boy and boom filly Sheza Alibi.

Down below is a speed map, runner preview and $100 betting strategy for the 2026 Randwick Guineas.

2026 Randwick Guineas Runner Preview:

1. Autumn Boy: Keen on Autumn Boy. I thought he was fabulous in the Hobartville when resuming, working home strongly against the bias behind Ninja. Fitter, 1600m, Grand Final, more upside than most…he’s clearly top seed for me. Keen.

2. Attica: Attica likely has eyes on the Rosehill Guineas but he was very good when first up in the Hobartville. Admittedly he was nearer the inside but loved the way he kept chasing in defeat behind Ninja. He’ll love the Randwick and will be stronger than most late. Key threat.

3. Ninja: He jumped well and had the right run in transit, pattern in his corner, but he was still dominant in the Hobartville. I do think there is more upside with others and this time around, he has a tricky map. I am keen to oppose again.

4. Rivellino: Rivellino is one I can entertain for exotics. Total forgive in both runs back when near last in races dominated on speed and was never really a factor. He wasn’t too bad late in the Hobartville…I doubt he wins but he can run first four at odds.

5. Green Spaces: He’s flying but has eyes on the Derby.

6. Providence: He’s my pony for the Rosehill Guineas/Derby. Loved his first up win and looks to be absolutely humming. But I think he’ll find these a bit sharp.

7. Decorum: Surely he is not up to these? Nice horse, 2/2 this time in, but has beaten nothing and for mine is still doing a bit wrong. Happy to let him go through to the keeper.

8. Dusty Bay: If they went to the Provincial Championships, he’d be nearly top seed. He’s not up to these.

9. Sheza Alibi: I am very keen to take this girl on. Visually, impressive. On the clock, impressive. But, she has been kissed on the date in all of her wins for Moody/Coleman. Maps ideally again but this is her toughest test to date, by a distance, and she’s favourite? No thank you.

2026 Randwick Guineas Speed Map

Dusty Bay looks the leader. Outside him, I can’t see much front end pressure…maybe Decorum, maybe Ninja? Maybe, not sure. But overall, I think this will be a slowly run race.
