The feature race at Randwick this Saturday is the Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m), where Autumn Glow dominates betting.
Down below is a speed map, runner preview and $100 betting strategy for the 2026 Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
2026 Queen Elizabeth Stakes Runner Preview:
1.Dubai Honour: Dubai Honour should only run well. He was given a 12/10 by Marquand in the Tancred and was hailed as the winner when booting clear but just had no answers late for the finale of Aeliana. Back to 2000m is fine, proven big time performer in this race and will be out of trouble on speed.
2.Sir Delius: People keep saying this horse is on track, some even saying he is flying…call me Stevie Wonder because I cannot see that. He was just fair in the Verry Elleegant and I thought was rather plain in in the Ranvet. He’s going okay, but for me, not well enough to threaten.
3.Light Infantry Man: Mighty winner of the Australian Cup, just getting there to nail Pride Of Jenni in an epic contest. How much that has taken out of him? Not sure. But one for exotics.
4.Lindermann: He gets his ideal set up of a dry deck and front end control. That alone should see him acquit himself well. But, he hasn’t got the class to match it with Autumn Glow.
5.Wootton Verni: Bounced back to his best in the Neville Sellwood but it was a thin race and I have others ahead of him.
6.Caviar Heights: Pattern was against in the Neville Sellwood and ran well, but this is much harder.
7.Autumn Glow: Autumn Glow, I think, will remind the racing world that as good as Sheza Alibi was in the Doncaster, she is still top dog. How quick some forget her George Ryder win…it was breathtaking in its own right and she made a mess of them, a proper mess of them. She’ll eat up 2000m, track should be perfect…just like we saw something special with Sheza Alibi, we’ll see it with Baby Winx.
8.Aeliana: Aeliana looks the logical second seed given she pushed Autumn Glow earlier in the Autumn before going to the Ranvet/Tancred, winning them both. Back to 2000m from a tricky gate, likely slowly run race…far from ideal set up, but she’s a rocket and commands respect.

2026 Queen Elizabeth Stakes Speed Map
Lindermann looks like he should get front end control. Dubai Honour will likely stalk while inside, I think Autumn Glow and Light Infantry Man will be the second pair. Sir Delius likely gets her back while Aeliana will likely be dragged back.
