Last start JRA Plate winner Diamil is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the Gosford Cup (2100m) this Saturday in what looks a wide open contest.
The John O’Shea trained gelding lapped up the bog surface at Randwick and a fast run 2000m to win the JRA Plate last time. Off that, 2100m is no issue and is favourite at $4.60.
On the second line of betting is Navajo Peak at $5.50, backing up from last Saturday. Lord Ardmore is a half point further back, with Quality Time at $8.50 alongside Iowa, who is in from $10.
