Australian wagering technology company BetMakers has entered a multi-year partnership with global wagering heavyweight Stake, securing a major deal to support Stake’s international horse racing expansion.
The agreement will see BetMakers deliver its RaceOdds+ product to Stake under a three-year contract, with an option to extend for a further two years. The partnership is scheduled to go live in the second half of FY26.
Stake, which is licensed in Curaçao and operates from Australia, is one of the largest players in the global wagering market, despite being unable to offer services to Australian customers. The platform attracts more than 80 million monthly visits and processes in excess of 100 billion bets annually.
Under the agreement, Stake will gain access to BetMakers’ full suite of racing technology, including live race streaming, global tote pools via the Global Tote Hub, and the Racelab analytics platform.
BetMakers chief executive Jake Henson said the deal was a significant endorsement of the company’s technology and global ambitions.
“We are thrilled to partner with a brand as dynamic as Stake.com. They are one of the fastest growing wagering platforms globally, with a reputation for speed and innovation,” Henson said.
“This is a strong validation of our RaceOdds+ product and global strategy. We’re excited to help Stake deliver a world-class racing experience to their modern customer base.”
Stake director Jarrod Febbraio described the partnership as a major step forward for the platform’s racing offering.
“The opportunity to offer tote pools through the Global Tote Hub is a terrific way to support the sustainability of horse racing, which is important to us,” Febbraio said. “We’re confident this partnership will allow us to deliver a superior racing experience.”
The commercial structure of the deal includes both fixed and variable revenue components. BetMakers said the contract was secured following a competitive global tender and extensive due diligence process.
