Australian Guineas first four nearly pays $1million

The huge upset by Lunar Fox in the Australian Guineas saw the First 4 dividend on SuperTAB nearly top the magical $1million mark.

The dividend of $974,376 is one of the highest, if not the highest, First 4 payouts in TAB history.

Unfortunately for Victorian customers there were just six winning tickets with the highest return being 3.26 percent of the dividend. That particular customer spent $115 and picked up a cool $31,832.

In NSW, one punter correctly boxed the first four horses across the line and spent $24 to nail the entire dividend and pick up $47,745.30.
