Scratchings:

Set Square: Set Square is the fourth horse to be ruled out of the race after she was scratched on vets advice this morning.

Tarzino: Mick Price will have to wait for his first Caulfield Cup runner with Tarzino being rulled out of the race on a vet certificate this morning.

Fanatic: New Zealand mare Fanatic has been scratched from the field meaning De Little Engine will gain a spot in the race.

Big Memory: The Tony McEvoy runner was scratched after showing severe inflammation to a hock.

Moves: Race favourite Jameka has drifted from $3.20 out to $3.40 following the Caulfield Cup barrier draw whilst Scottish is $9.00 into $7.50 and has been the biggest mover. Sacred Master shortened from $34 into $21 and Go Dreaming has lost the rank outsider tag moving from $201 into $101 with barrier 1.

Get To Know the Internationals: Caulfield Cup 2016: A look at the International horses

Race favourite Jameka has drawn awkwardly in barrier 13 which has opened up the race further for the internationals Exospheric (barrier 3) and Scottish (barrier 7) who have both drawn inside her.

Our Ivanhowe drew well in barrier 6 and should get a good run throughout the race whilst others who have also drawn well are Tarzino in barrier 4 who will look to bounce back from a poor preparation so far, Almoonqith in barrier 2 who will need rain to have a chance of winning whilst Sacred Master looks like she will be right in the finish after drawing barrier 8.

Both the emergencies have drawn wide, so Jameka will jump from barrier 13 if there are no scratchings from the 18 runners currently in the field.

Sir John Hawkwood looks to be the forgotten horse in the race and he won’t have to do any early work from barrier 5.
