A bumper ten race program will be run and won at Randwick on Saturday. Weather is fine, track is heavy (9) and the rail is out ten metres from the 1600m-Winning Post; Out seven metres for the remainder.

Race 1. (11:00) Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation Hcp 1200m
4 Matima (Bet Now: $SP.00) comes to town for James Cummings off the back of a debut win at Hawkesbury where he knuckled down with purpose late to win and win well. Stable has had a good season with their juveniles and with upside/improvement, he’s in the mix.
3 Sequista (Bet Now: $SP.00) commands respect here here after racing in the Percy Sykes when first up. She did early work to land on speed and tried hard but condition just gave way late. Tricky gate again but should lead and prove hard to get past.
8 Federal Reserve (Bet Now: $SP.00) has good upside and should appreciate a rise to 1200m after debuting over 1100m at Randwick a few weeks ago where he got off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat behind Grand Eagle. Fitter, 1200m, he appeals.
Race 2. (11:35) Midway (Bm72) 1400m
I think 16 Allegro Miss (Bet Now: $SP.00) is one of the better each way gambles on the program. She should have won two back at Canberra but made amends at Newcastle where she gave them a start and a beating to win quite impressively. Good test here at Midway grade, but confident she can measure up.
9 First Mission (Bet Now: $SP.00) is progressive and heading in the right direction for Ryan/Alexiou. He resumed at the midweeks at Canterbury where he had the suck run in behind before angling clear and knuckled down with purpose late to win and win well. Confident he can measure up here.
1 Hellfire Express (Bet Now: $SP.00) is several weeks between runs since racing on a bog at Newcastle when on speed and he tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through when second to Oakfield Primce. He does seem to race best on the fresh side and is fine on wet ground.
Race 3. (12:10) Tab Highway Hcp (C3) 1200m
I like 11 Chemtrail (Bet Now: $SP.00) here. Danny Williams trained three year old that has had two runs back from a spell, both on the home deck at Goulburn. Just ran out of condition fresh but made amends last time with a dominant win from on speed. Bred to swim, has upside, good racing style, he’ll do me.
10 A Pound Of Salt (Bet Now: $SP.00) is in the mix for Todd Howlett. He last ran on April 19 in the Highway over 1400m here where he got a mile out of his ground but really liked the way he finished his race off in defeat. He’ll get back again but he’ll be one of the strongest late.
5 Acheson (Bet Now: $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. He was 1000m to 1400m when racing at Bathurst last time. He landed in a good spot near the speed and was there to win but just couldn’t quite get there when second to Jolly Good Fellow. Hard fit, he appeals.
Race 4. (12:45) Chalouhi (Bm72) 1800m
5 Hurstville Zagreb (Bet Now: $SP.00) should be winning this. He was massive when resuming at Gosford, sitting wide no cover throughout yet kept finding the line and I think if he runs straight, he wins instead of a narrow second to Enter The Dragon. If he does everything right, he wins.
3 She’s A Dealer (Bet Now: $SP.00) can book her spot in the QLD Oaks with a win here. Kiwi filly that comes down under off the back of two wins, the latest being a dominant display at Te Rapa over the mile. The rise to 1800m is fine and she does appear above average.
10 Automne Tree (Bet Now: $SP.00) ran fourth to Enter The Dragon at Gosford. He got into a good position and was there to threaten early on in the straight but just couldn’t quite finish his race off when fourth. Like the rise in trip for him and commands respect I say.
Race 5. (13:20) Pf Civil (Bm78) 2400m
18 Asgoodassobergets (Bet Now: $SP.00) has found winning form and he can certainly go on with it. He won at Gosford a fortnight back, giving them a start and a beating, getting better as the race went on to win in quite dominant fashion. Off that, 2400m is fine and is one of the hardest to beat.
7 Ahuriri (Bet Now: $SP.00) is a key threat. She was knocking on the door to win and that win came at the midweeks at Canterbury, lifting hard late under Nash to fend them off and win. 2400m looks ideal, she will handle wet ground and is now in winning form.
4 Casual Connection (Bet Now: $SP.00) is a track/distance winner and is a knockout hope. He ran behind Asgoodassobergets two weeks back at Gosford. He got into a decent spot in transit and was there to threaten but just couldn’t quite finish the race off. Not sure he wins, but I wouldn’t dismiss him.
Race 6. (13:55) Taylor Construction (Bm78) 1000m
5 Epic Proportions (Bet Now: $SP.00) looks to have returned well for Ciaron Maher and is one of the hardest to beat after resuming over 1100m at Hawkesbury a few weeks ago when off speed and chased with purpose late in the piece when second to Able Willie. Better for the run, he appeals.
4 Grand Larceny (Bet Now: $SP.00) is a key threat. He resumed at Caulfield Heath where he gave them a start and a beating, letting down with purpose late to win well. If he handles the wet track, he has the class/quality to be around the mark.
1 Testator Silens (Bet Now: $SP.00) should appreciate a fast run 1000m after resuming a few weeks back in the Gold Rush at Hawkesbury where he just found them a tad sharp but didn’t mind the way he finished his race off in defeat. Better set up here, he’s a definite improver against these.
Race 7. (14:30) Fujitsu Airstage (Bm88) 2000m
Very keen each way on 1 Glory Daze (Bet Now: $SP.00). He ran over the mile here four weeks ago where he got too far out of his ground but really liked the way he finished his race off in defeat. He’ll love the rise to 2000m, has good upside and gets in very well after the claim.
14 Quantum Cat (Bet Now: $SP.00) is a hard horse to catch but I think he’s racing well for Chris Waller and is knocking on the door. He ran at Hawkesbury three weeks ago when off speed and surged hard late but just missed out on the win when a narrow second to Jamberoo. Hard fit, 2000m, he appeals.
2 Hopeful (Bet Now: $SP.00) is an absolute swimmer so he has to be in the mix as a knockout hope. He ran in the Gosford Cup last time where he was never a factor but the last 100m and through the line, he really warmed up nicely. Bigger track, more positive ride, he can win.
Race 8. (15:05) The Charity Challenge (Bm94) 1600m
Been waiting for 3 Green Fly (Bet Now: $SP.00) to run again and he’s here. He was the real eye catcher at Randwick last time when back and held up, but was very good late when clear and for mine, will eat up the mile here. Keen each way.
1 Bold Mac (Bet Now: $SP.00) is in the mix for Richard Collett. He hasn’t raced since April 26 at Randwick when off speed and kept chasing with purpose but had no answers for the very much in form Punch Lane. Racing well and this appears to be a winnable race.
2 Gold Bullion (Bet Now: $SP.00) is a son of Savabeel that resumes for GaiBott. He is first up, having not raced since Jan 17 on Magic Millions Day in the Subzero when far from disgraced in defeat behind Encoder. Given a good break and his trial work indicates a forward showing is expected first up.
Race 9. (15:45) Magnolia Lane Financial Services (Bm78) 1400m
18 Spione (Bet Now: $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since racing over this track/distance where he got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never a winning threat, you had to like the way he finished his race off in defeat when second to Yankee One. Has that 1400m run under the belt, he takes beating.
5 King Of Roseau (Bet Now: $SP.00) is a slight query at 1400m but his recent runs indicate he should be fine. Latest run was a fortnight back over 1200m at Gosford when off speed and chased with purpose in the straight when second to Raikkonen. If 1400m is fine, which I think it is, he will be around the mark.
9 No Drama (Bet Now: $SP.00) looks the leader and from there, will take running down. He led throughout over 1550m at Canterbury last time, giving nothing else a look in and he was strong to the line in winning. Back to 1400m no issue, good racing style, he appeals.
Race 10. (16:25) Wilson Asset Management (Bm78) 1400m
4 Elba (Bet Now: $SP.00) is a key threat for Team Freedman. She ran behind Memoria a few weeks back at Randwick where she got back to near last in the run but you had to like the way she finished her race off in defeat. If within range, she has the finale to win.
3 Drift Net (Bet Now: $SP.00) has found winning form and he can go on with it. That win came over 1300m at Warwick Farm at the midweeks where he got the nice sit in transit before being asked for the effort by McEvoy and was strong to the line. He measures up.
14 Cosy Corner (Bet Now: $SP.00) loves getting her toe in and she gets right down in the weights. She ran on the Kenso last Wednesday when on speed and she tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there when third to Hellbent On You. Good racing style, she’s a knockout hope.
