Royal Ascot winner Defrocked has been sold to continue his racing career in Hong Kong.
The Jamie Osborne-trained three-year-old won the Britannia Stakes (1600m) at the Royal meeting in June, his third victory from five starts.
Co-owner Michael Buckley confirmed the sale.
โHeโs actually been sold to Hong Kong,โ Buckley told At The Races.
โWhat I didnโt know, not having had a runner in it before, is that the race is a bit of a famous hunting ground.
โHe was already a gelding and weโve got to keep in business so that we can get the new ones (horses) in.โ
Roca Tumu, the 2013 Britannia winner, renamed Beauty Flame has twice finished to Hong Kongโs champion miler Able Friend in Group One races in Hong Kong.
