Hong Kong’s Chadwick to ride in Singapore

Former champion Hong Kong apprentice Matthew Chadwick is to join the Singapore riding ranks on a short-term licence.

He has been granted a licence to ride during the Hong Kong racing season break from July 14 to August 21, dependant on being granted a work permit.

Chadwick, who has had an interrupted season because of knee surgery, is no stranger to Australian racing and spent time riding in New South Wales during his apprenticeship.

Australian jockey John Powell has been granted a six-month extension to his Singapore licence until the end of the year.
