Melbourne Cup winner Verry Elleegant has put in a much improved run in this evenings G2 Qatar Prix Foy Stakes at Longchamp.
The former Chris Waller star failed to fire in her French debut but has only just gone down in the G2 staying event which was won by Iresine.
Prior to her run there were talks the Champion mare could be retired however the improved run will mean connections will need to deliberate before making a decision.
