A Swan Hill based trainer has been charged for allegedly failing to provide proper and sufficient nutrition for horses in his care.
Racing Victoria (RV) stewards have laid seven charges against Swan Hill-based licensed restricted trainer Ian W Fletcher
under AR175(o)(iv) for allegedly failing to provide proper and sufficient nutrition for horses in his care prior to 6 April 2016.
The horses to which it is alleged Fletcher failed to provide proper and sufficient nutrition are: Persian Express, Canned Heat, Man of Awe, English Tiger, Mystical Kate, an unnamed chestnut mare and an unnamed black gelding.
The charges will be heard before the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary (RAD) Board on a date to be fixed.
