Godolphin’s three-year-old colt, Traffic Warden, will not race in Saturday’s G1 Newmarket Handicap at Flemington.

The colt, who bled from one nostril following a trial last week, will miss the prestigious race, with trainer James Cummings deciding to end his autumn campaign after just one start.

Traffic Warden, a son of Street Boss, last raced in the G1 Black Caviar Lightning Stakes, finishing fifth.

With his Newmarket withdrawal, the colt could now target the Queensland winter carnival.

Before the withdrawal, Traffic Warden was listed as a $9 chance for the Newmarket Handicap.
